Is your faith a noun or a verb?

The Hebrew word for trust “emunah” is how we get the Greek word “pistis” which means Faith. When writing at the time it was the best way for Jewish people to describe emunah in their now Greek language, the only problem is emunah and pistis did not end up having the same meaning today. The Faith the Protestant Church teaches and preaches Faith as a cornerstone of their belief system, but this is not the same meaning as the trusting reliance Jews had on their God, Adonai. In fact, trust in the Jewish sense is an active process of loyalty and faithfulness, not a needed belief in God or a set of doctrines. A verb, is something you do, a noun is a person, place, or thing, in this instance a thing. Your belief in God, now this wasn’t needed in the Hebrew culture because they actually didn’t have a word for “believing God exists” because His existence was taken as a given. Therefore, their focus was on whether you were faithful to Him or not...

So first I have to get a few things out of the way because I do not want to be taken the wrong way. I do understand that when dealing with the nations (goyim/gentiles) their needed to now be a Word of Faith, because God was not assumed in their cultures, at least not the True God. However, that is not the purpose that I am serving here. If you do not know whether you believe in God, Adonai, His Son, Jesus, Yeshua, and Their Holy Spirit , Rauch HaKodesh, then this isn’t the blog for you. You need to find a Christian/Catholic Church that teaches sound milk doctrine for new believers. This is essential to come to know Jesus Christ and His mission from the Father to save us...why I do not know, but we have a History left for us by the Jewish nation that tell us of God’s love for His people, His want to Rescue/Resurrect them, even if it meant turning His face from them to give them what their hearts desired which led them to exile. However, He never leaves us nor forsakes us, He kept a Remnant, He always does, and that Remnant got to go back to their land and rebuild their Temple, the same Temple that was torn in half when Jesus died.

The Lord has not left us as orphans though, He has sent His Spirit to carry us through this prison of a world. The Spirit of the Lord builds as you are faithful and have Faith, He will take you maybe one day to here, but it is not for you now. This may only confuse you and that is not my intention. This blog is for people who want to dig deep into the true Creator of the Universe and The King of the Universe, in the sense that His own Chosen People would have known Him the best so we are looking to them. Because the Jews were the Chosen People, the people to emulate what God handed down in the Old Testament, the Tanakh, to set them apart from the pagan nations. Not so they could be racist bigots and keep it all to themselves but so their lives under God would shine and gentiles would be drawn to that light and want to learn about their God too! Gentiles would want to come to know the Creator of the Universe and await the birth of their King! Learn to worship Him as He wants and prescribed! Full culmination of His Creation Glorifying Him in His Way/Will! But unfortunately the Jewish People were enticed by the pagan Gods instead of the other way around, and a lot of the Jews fell to their own folly. Now I want to resurrect their knowledge and bring the Tanakh to its rightful place of Authority in Adonai’s and Yeshau’s Church!

This has been shown to me, to be needed, I have ran into a lot of believing people that are confused by it all, confused by all the divisions and differencing of opinions in the church. However, we must remember that unfortunately not every church is part of the Church, and these divisions are not of God. The Lord Jesus Himself said that no kingdom can be divided and stand, so how has His earthly kingdom following so fractured now? It is definitely not a good thing, and I think that we have lost the true meaning of being faithful to God, we have stopped with a believing Faith, and forgotten that true faithfulness involves an action. Adonai asked Abraham to leave his home, sacrifice his son, in Hebrews we learn are the “Hall of Faith” and the actions that the members carried out to get there. Once you are a sound believer in Jesus then your Faith needs to transfer into faithfulness. God is asking every single one of us to do something, and it is different for every single one of us. The enemy’s only goal its to make you doubt that very voice whispering to your soul, but I promise you following Him is the best decision you will ever make. It will open your eyes and mind to things you never thought possible, change things inside of you never thought possible, bring emotions in your life that make you feel as if you would burst at the seems with thankfulness...I swear I think that is what Heaven will feel like, we just get a tiny does in the Holy Spirit now!

So faithfulness, this walking out of trust in the Lord, what does it look like? I am not sure I can describe that, but what I do believe is that God has told us. I do believe that all the answers to our questions, that are to be answered are there to be given. I do understand that there are things that not even our Savior knows and are only for the Father, which means there is so much more that we are not to know now. Our finite minds would explode if we could just get a glimpse behind the veil. But this is where the trust in our Lord comes in, that because He knows and He loves us and is working all things together for good (not just our things), then we can loyalty live out of lives in faithfulness trying our best to stay within the confines of his commands because it is how we are to survive and thrive in this prison of a world. If we do not depend on the graces of God in this world, the evil in it will chew us up and spit us out without us even knowing about it hopefully, because when you know about it, life can get really really bad!

While I don’t think we will find all the answers on this side of life; I do think we can find a way to start making God’s Church look a little more like Adonai’s. Please help me in this endeavor because what I am seeking is Truth, not disparagement (communication that belittles or undervalues someone) or aspersion (an attack on the reputation or integrity of someone/group of people). Though I understandably know the Devil works through division and chaos, and a lot of what I say may make people feel even more of that because they cannot let go of childish belief systems. I am not here to be liked, I am here to shake things up, and the world is in need of a serious shaking. It’s coming, I just want to help open my mind, and let others in along the way. Sorry if I make you mad, but you don’t have to read my stuff if it’s not for you. May God keep you all protected under His wings!
